Das Straßenmusikorchester Eigen Hulp wurde in den 1970er Jahren gegründet, in Zeiten des Protests. Heute spielt es Musik aus allen Teilen der Welt: Afrikanische Rhythmen, Swing aus der Karibik, aktuelle amerikanische Melodien. Jedes Jahr touren rund 20 enthusiastische Amateur-Musiker durch Europa, 2012 waren sie bereits im bosnischen Mostar. Und jetzt toppt Hamburg alles!
Eigen Hulp is a streetorchestra founded in the seventies, in the years of protest. With about 20 enthusiastic amateur musicians they play music from all over the world: African rhythms, Caribbean swing, modern American tunes. Every year they go on tour to a European country. And now, top of all, they'll come to Hamburg!
