As if he has some kind of magnetic power, the crystal ball is sliding over his body while it's becoming one with his pantomimic dance.
Maybe, after all, the whole thing does have something to do with supernatural energy...

The Große Bergstraße is situated in the center of Caracas. That's exactly what you would think, when you hear the percussion-rhythms of Palo Santo echo between the buildings of Altonas Eastside. Any kind of genre limitations just exist to be demolished! The six people combo Palo Santo prove this fact with their self created potpourri of ska, folkore, cumbia and sambareggae. If this wouldn't be enough, they also promise impressive "latin power". With origins in Argentina, Columbia, Germany, Ecuador, Chile and Venezuela they have everything which is required to keep their promise. So, let's go! South America is waiting!

(Austria) - Groove-soul in style
Sometimes you don't have to travel far to get in touch with some exotic vibes... our neighbouring country Austria is the home of the combo Chilifish. They bring along english lyrics with austrian dialect as well as the sounds of a tunable didgeridoo, saxophon-tunes and some grooving beatbox-rhythm. The whole thing is served like an iced-lolly... on top of knee-high stilts. Well, to say it's "hot as chili" is really a bit too banal, but because it definitely deserves some praise our rating is "as high it can get"!

(Spain) - Soccer-Clownshow at championsleague niveau
Caution! Things are getting absurd! During the spectacle of Spaniard Hiltoff he doesn't only shake a leg to the music of the jungle book dressed in a football tricot - it could even get to the point that Hiltoff, as protagonist of his multicoloured world, is standing on the pavement stage dressed only in his underpants! Convincing humour and full-on attention towards the audience is an indispensable part of his show, and the audience loves him. Hiltoff attracts every watching pair of eyes and deservedly so... but once in a while have a little look around you and watch your fellow men: The young couple in the second row with mouths wide open, the shining eyes of the guy in the green sports-jacket, the tentative smile of the pensioner in the first row to the right and the peals of laughter of the blond girl with the pink bike- it's all worthwhile, just as the fulminant show of the Spaniard. But beware of the great final!

Not Kaiser Franz, not Justin Bieber... more eloquent, more grooves, danceable, street credible and at least as royalist. The nine musicians of Franz Biberkopf show us with their acoustic-hip hop and reggae how easy it is to make a trunk burst. MC and vocals, beat and strings, keys and trumpet from Trier, Hildesheim and Siegen will inspire everything in their spell to swing and dance, you can tell they are having lots of fun while playing together. And if the next day one or another melody line mills itself into the shelves and we start to bop along, in a way that the branches of the trees outside are bending, it's obvious: It´s the beaver! It´s the beaver!

The argentinian artist - with his pseudonym "Captain Maurangas" he should actually have conquered all big ports of the world long ago - managed to unify it. He juggles, brachiates, balances and prances through his show and navigates with flambeaus, slackline and unicycle directly into the hearts of the spectators. Very close to the audience whose attention he captures intensely, you wouldn't notice if you somehow changed the world with your laughter...or how Captain Maurangas saved at least your day.

Asaf 'n Roll (Israel) - Rock'n'Roll-Juggling
Sex, clubs and Asafn`n`Roll: the biggest Rock`n Roll star is a juggler and comes directly from Israel. Now he favours Hamburg with his visit - Hamburg, the town in which already many rockstars performaned their Greatest Hits. "Great Balls of Fire" or "Rock around the club" provoked already side effects within the audience like uncontrolled shrugging and bouncing hips. Besides the rock-characteristical club-swinging Asaf also offers virtuosic diabolotapping and a hotblooded pyro-show... therefore you can count on various kinds of blackouts, in a frequency pretty similar to the Beatles-Boom.

The money lies on the bank, the newspaper reports about it, we have a look at it and the bank topples down - what`s going on? Weightlessness and road contact dealing with the daily print media barrage are taking turns with a funny-acrobatic vexier-game, in which angles of view and intentions are permantly switching. With an eccentric humour both protagonists of the hamburgian group Pajokole erect a mobile monument to our everyday life and its coincidences - they are mirroring it while they are dancing.
Last year Pajokole already enthused the audience with their show "Zeltintimität", this year they will finally contribute their part to the banking crisis... chapeau!!

(Hungarya) -Cirkusz-Ka - Touching, exceptional tango
Two men, one woman - Hitchcock would have been rejoiced in this fact... but the Hungarian trio creates a tango out of this constellation - a tango how you've never heard it before: fragile, rough and poetic, a bit of Brecht/Weill, a pinch east-europaen melancholy. With a liability to chanson and with classic guitar, oud, bulgarian gudalka and percussion the two musicians Tamas Rock and Istvan Simon create easily and unerringly an acoustic carpet, on which the melodies by Anna Slavics lounge... maybe they touch your heart - or they go for your throat just in the right moment - an experience!

If people have a burning heart for something they do it is mostly hard to stop them and the euphoric sparks in their eyes are infectious. The fire of euphoria is definitely and literally burning in the shows of the Feuerfeen. Mareike Bongers and Ulrike Tuch are playing acrobaticly and in perfect harmony with the movements of their firepois. Both of them swing burning fans while dancing to set this fire in the eyes of their audience - which is more than a mere reflection of their burning assecories.

(Spain) - Puppet-Circus with live-music and trashfactor
The probably smallest circus of the world! Instead of various truck trailers and a big top it travels from Catalonia with a three-wheeled Piaggio-Apecar. Indeed this is small-sized, but amply appareled: the circus band with real drums, guitar and keyboard is sitting on the roof!
In the circus ring just below Circumloqui presents puppet theatre with various poetic and trashy circus characters. Well-known newly interpreted - over and over surprising, not only for the young sptectators! A great show on narrowest space.

(USA) - Juggling and overdrive acrobatics
You need a striking charm and superb convincing skills to get single spectators from the audience to sing "I want to rock and roll all night" with a heavy metal wig on their head moving like somebody from "High School Musical". The LOL Brothers have an almost inexhaustible supply of those kinds of characteristics.
But these are not the only values of the two american guys. They juggle with knives and torches in such a light and delicate way! And the real smasher is when one of them steps into a human sized wheel to circle around his own and all thinkable and unthinkable axes.
